The Cost of a UK Driving Licence:

First provisional – car, motorcycle, moped: £50

First full GB licence in exchange of a full European Community/European Economic Area (EC/EEA) or other foreign licence (including Channel Island and Isle of Man): £50

Licence type provisional to full:

Provisional to full car, motorcycle, moped, bus or lorry: free

Provisional to full car, motorcycle, moped after disqualified till test pass: free

Licence type renewal:

After disqualification: £65

If disqualified for some drink driving offences *: £95

* If disqualified for an alcohol-related offence where DVLA need to arrange medical enquiries (see booklet D100, section 10)

Licence type duplicate:

Replace lost or stolen licence: £20
